ลง clearOs นานวันเข้าจะช้า

ก็คือ แก้ไขไฟล์ /etc/init.d/squid ครับ
โดยเพิ่มคำสั่ง ulimit -HSn 16384 เข้าไปครับ เช่น

ตัวอย่างไฟล์ /etc/init.d/squid

ก่อนที่จะทำการปรับ ulimit

พอใช้งานไปสักพัก และ user มีการใช้งานมากขึ้น ใน cache.log จะขึ้นมาว่า

และจะทำให้ การเข้า web อืด ช้า มาก แทบจะเข้าไม่ได้ ก็เลย Restart SQUID ไป ก็เข้าได้ แต่สักพัก มันก็วนมาเป็นอาการเดิม

แต่หลังจากทำการปรับ ulimit

ก็จะไม่มีปัญหาอีกและ และยังสามารถรับ Connection ที่มากๆได้

ใน SQUID 2.6 จะเป็นคำสั่ง
max_open_disk_fds 0 เลข 0 ก็คือ ไม่จำกัดในการเปิดไฟล์ ซึ่งค่านี้จะขึ้นอยู่กับ ulimit

ใน SQUID 2.7 จะเป็นคำสั่ง
max_filedesc 65536 เลข 65536 ก็คือ จำนวนไฟล์ที่ Squid สามารถเปิดได้สูงสุด ซึ่งจะใส่มากหรือน้อยก็ได้ แต่ มันจะเปิดไฟล์ได้ไม่มากกว่าที่กำหนดไว้ใน ulimit

ใน SQUID 3 จะเป็นคำสั่ง
max_filedescriptors 65536 เลข 65536 ก็คือ จำนวนไฟล์ที่ Squid สามารถเปิดได้สูงสุด ซึ่งจะใส่มากหรือน้อยก็ได้ แต่ มันจะเปิดไฟล์ได้ไม่มากกว่าที่กำหนดไว้ใน ulimit

การเพิ่มการอ่าน-เขียนไฟล์ให้กับระบบ โดยค่าปกติแล้ว จะอยู่ที่ 1024 ซึ่งก็คือ ทุก User สามารถเปิดไฟล์ได้สูงสุดแค่ 1024 ไฟล์
ให้ทำการแก้ไขไฟล์ /etc/security/limits.conf

โดยการเพิ่ม
*   -   nofile   65536
